SACK is always interested in training and educational opportunities for the communities we serve. We work with many organizations including The University Of Kansas Medical Center, DCCA and other research and training groups as well as outreach/support groups.

Training and Education: The Opioid Crisis

SACK, in partnership with DCCA, provides educational curriculum to address the impact of opioids in Kansas. The content can be tailored to the audience. Contact the main office for more information.

Training Objectives:

Participants will:

Learn about the impact of the opioid crisis nationally and in Kansas;
Develop their ability to prevent, recognize, and respond to an opioid overdose;
Explore resources associated with opioids in Kansas; and
Learn how to administer Naloxone if an opioid overdose is suspected.
